Hopefully your calendars are already set up with two Fridays off in the month of April. Both April 7th and April 14th are closed for Stratford Elementary. We hope you all enjoy the short break!
During the week of Feb 6, students in grades 3-6 will be taking Iowa Assessments. Please be sure to give your children "brain food" each morning before they go out the door for school!
On Friday, Jan 27, 2017, there will be no school for students in Stratford. Please be sure to make other arrangements for your children.
LOOKING AHEAD -- there is a new professional development day on Friday, Feb 3, 2017, as well. Please note this on your home calendars.
On Tuesday, January 17, 2017, students will be participating in a Geography Bee in the morning. If your child is participating, be sure to encourage them before they leave for school that day!!
This week, we approach the Christmas break with a slightly altered schedule.
Thursday we will dismiss early at 1:45 pm.
Friday there is no school. Enjoy the time off with family and friend festivities!
School resumes on January 3, 2017 ... See you then!
On Thursday, Dec 8, 2016, at 6 pm, our students will be sharing their talents with the community through their holiday concert. Come enjoy the music that they have been preparing for many weeks! They will love to perform for a friendly audience.
Next week, November 21-25, 2016, is the week of Thanksgiving, meaning a modified schedule for school.
Wednesday, 11/23, is an early out, dismissing at 1:45 pm
Thursday and Friday, 11/24-25, there is no school.

Friday, November 11 is a day with no school for Stratford children and teachers. Please remember to plan for that day!
On Tuesday, Nov 8 and Thurs, Nov 10, from 4-8 pm, Parent/Teacher conferences will be happening. Please be sure to come at your assigned time in order to learn about your child's progress in school so far this fall.
