Stratford Elementary School, founded in 1905, is located in the safe, family friendly small town of Stratford, Iowa. We are located 35 miles northwest of Ames, Iowa. We are a progressive elementary school that offers an enriched curriculum for your child's education.

We are an elementary school serving grades pre-school through 6th. Stratford is dedicated to creating 21st Century Learners. We offer small class sizes, multi-age classes, and team teaching! Students at Stratford get to experience our strong Fine Arts program as we integrate technology, writing, science and social studies themes into the curriculum.
