PBIS-Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports
Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) are a multi-leveled continuum of supports for all students in the Stratford Community School environment. PBIS is a proactive approach to establishing the behavioral supports and social culture needed for all students in the school to achieve social, emotional and academic success for all students.
In 2012, Stratford Community School was awarded Paramount Status by the Iowa Department of Education which stems from Stratford Community School's work in Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports which is focused around the 3 B's: Be responsible! Be respectful! and Be your best!
